Another gore anime. Although, unlike Hellsing, Baccano! is kind of a tolerable type of gore I think. Baccano actually is another anime that is hard to summarize. Why is it hard to summarize. First because the anime isn’t the type that starts from the past then moves forward to the present. It starts from the present goes back to the past then moves further to the past then back to the present. Although the chronology of the anime isn’t practical, and maybe weird, it’s actually great for this anime. This anime is all about mystery and suspense and secrets and the complicated chronology of the episodes adds to the quality of the anime. Second, because the anime doesn’t focus on just one character’s story. It has multiple main characters. All of the main characters had a flashback or substory with him that contributes to the main story because each story is connected with the others. Interestingly, each one has unique personalities as well. No two are the same.
The concept behind Baccano is mafia. It’s about mafias and wars between two or even more mafias but Baccano isn’t just about that. It has a twist which makes Baccano unique 😀
